The Pegasus Foreign Language Centre, part of Pegasus International College, is a highly reputable and well-respected institution in Vietnam known for its English proficiency assessments and providing English training for businesses in the hospitality industry. The centre is licensed by the Department of Education of Da Nang City.
Apart from hotel and restaurant-specific English, the centre also offers general English courses, English for communication and English for children. To standardise English proficiency, the Pegasus Language Centre uses the NEO English learning software. This is designed for English learners as a second language and caters from Beginner (PreA1) to Advanced (C2) levels, The NEO English software used is in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and is equivalent to Vietnam’s 6-Level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework.
Based on the NEO evaluation tool, learners are accurately assessed for their English proficiency, which helps tailor training programs to individual needs.

| Assessment of English proficiency and determination of training level | In order to determine the level and training route that best suits the student's English level, the Centre will conduct an entrance assessment of each student on the NEO system. | Learning Methods | Each course is implemented in accordance with a learning method that combines classroom instruction and individual practice (self-study). • Individual Self-Study: Students learn on their own on the NEO software system with a personalized account and curriculum. • Practice in the Classroom: Knowledge is reinforced and practiced through classroom activities, under the guidance of the teacher who acts as a facilitator. • Advanced Practice: Students continue to practice the language in a work environment to achieve natural proficiency and reflexes. |
